GDA cancelled EWS/LIG housing scheme by private builders failure

As per the news published in Hindustan Times Ghaziabad Development Authority has cancelled its EWS/LIG housing scheme 2014 because the private failed to deliver their housing project. Now the authority has decided to refund an estimated Rs 28 crore to applicants from the two categories. According to the terms & condition of application brochure, the amount would be returned without interest as it will be refunded within a year of the launch of the scheme.

According to the officials, the private developers are not in a position to deliver the flats. So, the special committee of GDA recommended cancellation of the scheme. Under the scheme, the authority was offering nearly 2,000 flats ranging from 4,000 square metres (sqm) to under 40,000 sqm were offered extra floor area ratio if they built flats for the EWS and LIG groups. Around 20,000 applicants had applied for flats for the scheme. For the construction of these flats, the authority has identified 20 private developers who failed to construct the flats and action will be taken against them.

Ahmed said that we will not be issuing completion certificates for their projects as they have flouted government directions. The developers have also kept some part of their land and bank guarantee with us. We are exploring possibilities to hold these back. According to the government orders if the private developers didn’t construct the flats in this case the developers will have to pay the GDA a ‘shelter fee’ and the authority had to develop the flats from the shelter fee received.

Gaurav Gupta, general secretary, Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (Credai) said Several developers have already paid the shelter fee. Other developers are developing the flats as they are bound by the conditions and our area (RNE) has very few of projects that are 40,000 sqm or more in the area. Source

UP Govt. to launch Affordable Housing under Samajwad Awas Yojana this year

Uttar Pradesh Government planning to provide affordable housing for the poor people in the state this year under its most ambitious Samajwadi Awas Yojana in 2016. Samajwadi Awas Yojana is very famous for the development of affordable housing schemes and it has played an important role for the development of Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh government will come up with news scheme under Samajwadi Awas Yojana to complete the dream of own home. The scheme is made to available subsidized housing for the people under the introduced PPP Model.

Last year in 2015 Uttar Pradesh Government had launched many affordable housing schemes under Samajwadi Awas Yojana like Koyal Enclave Housing Scheme at Ghaziabad with other schemes at different locations. The applications were invited for the scheme from 09 October 2015 to 30 November 2015.

Recently, Uttar Pradesh Government has launched New Jagriti Vihar Housing Scheme 2016 for Medium Income Group and Mini Income Group at Kalindipuram. The New Jagriti Vihar Affordable Housing Scheme 2016 is launched under Samajwadi Awas Yojana Allahabad.

Under the New Jagriti Vihar Affordable Housing Scheme 2016, the authority has offered total 370 flats. The new scheme comprised of two category of flats including Category-I and Category-II. In the Category-I, 82 flats are available for Medium Affordable Income Group while in Category-II, 288 flats are available for Mini Medium affordable Income Group.

As per the scheme details the build-up area of Category-I flats is about 67.80 square meter while Category-II flats build-up area is about 54.30 square meters. The estimated cost of Category-I and Category-II flat is about Rs. 23.75 lakh and Rs. 17.80 lakh.

This is only the beginning of the scheme but Uttar Pradesh government main aim to provide affordable housing on public demand and requirements. UP government will come soon with news schemes this year.

TNHB New HIG/MIG/LIG 660 Flats Scheme 2016 at Ayyappakkam

Tamil Nadu Housing Board(TNHB) has invited the applications TNHB New Housing Scheme 2016 at Ayyappakkam, Ambathur Phase-I, II Scheme Chennai for the demand survey under self-finance scheme.

The registration for the scheme has been started from 04 January 2016 to 22 January 2016. The application forms will be submitted through the offline mode.

LDA to Launch Soon Affordable Housing Project ‘CG City’ for 1500 MIG/HIG Flats

Uttar Pradesh government is going to launch soon its new housing dream project ‘CG City’ on Sultanpur Road Lucknow with all modern facilities like specialized hospitals, IT City, modern milk processing plant, IIIT etc. Under the new CG City Housing Project the state government will be offered around 1500 housing units for MIG and HIG section very soon in 2016. LDA will be provided these flats at quite affordable rates around Rs. 35 lakh for MIG and about Rs. Rs. 50 lakh for HIG Units.

According to the official reports, the LDA additional secretary Seema Singh said that We have recently forwarded a proposal to the LDA VC to make 352 EWS (Economically Weaker Section) and 512 LIG (Lower Income Group) flats. These are expected to get approval soon from the authorities. After the approval of this project, the weaker sections will also have an opportunity to get affordable flats in New CG City Housing Project of Lucknow.

As per the CG City Plan, the project is spread over all on 850 acres about 350 acres land is being used to develop the facilities while resting of the land has been hand over to the Lucknow Development Authority for laying the basic infrastructure like electricity, water supply, sewerage, drainage, roads and develop multistoried housing projects, small societies, commercial complexes, institutional buildings, green belt and open areas. These flats will be constructed by the private builders and for the construction these flats, the land will be auctioned soon in few months.

Under this new housing project, the most flats would be of MIG and mini MIG on public demand. The estimated size of flats would be from 70 to 90 square metre while HIG area would be above 120 Sqm. LIG’s and EWS’ areas would range between 30-40 and 20 Sqm. About 70% apartments would be constructed for MIG and only 30% for HIG.

According to the sources, LDA needs to give about 150 acres of land to Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC) for real estate development to maintain operation cost of metro from 2016. Source…. Economic Times

MHADA Announce Konkana Board Lottery 2016 for Sale 4275 Tenements

Konkana Hosing & Area Development Authority (KHADA) application are invited from the eligible applicants for sale available 4275 tenements for EWS, MIG and LIG Categories people on the basis of the  provision under the MHADA (Estate Management, Sale, transfer and exchange of tenements) Regulation 1981 and (Disposal of Land) Rule 1981.

Under the new scheme, only 4275 fats are available for sale about 329 flats for EWS, 2629 for LIG and 1311 flats for MIG category. There are only 4 flats for the MIG category in Vengurla.Only 49 flats which are for EWS are complete while the rest are under construction.

The online registrations for MHADA lottery 2016 will be started from 13 January 2016 while the online application can be filled from 15 January 2016. The last date of online registrations and the applications is 7 February and 9 February 2016 respectively. MHADA Lottery 2016 for 4275 Low-Cost Affordable Houses

Maharashtra Housing and Area Development (MHADA) has announced to sale 4275 affordable houses for EWS, MIG and LIG category people in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) a majority of them for the lower and middle-income groups, on the block for sale in Virar, and a handful in other areas such as Thane, Mira Road and Vengurla.

Total 4275 tenements are available for sale MHADA will offer 3,755 houses in Virar, 310 in Mira Road, 164 in Kavesar, Thane, 19 in Balkum, Thane and 27 in Vengurla in the Sindhudurg district. The application form for the scheme will be invited through the online and offline mode from 13 January 2016.

Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority will offer these flats on affordable prices. The price of these flats will be between Rs 4.37 lakh and Rs 40.93 lakh and the size of the low-income group flat is around 368 square feet while that of the middle-income flat is approximately 670 square feet.

The online registration of MHADA Lottery 2016 will start from 13 January 2016 to 09 February 2016 and the final lottery result will be announced on 24 February 2016.

PUDA 112 Residential Plots Scheme 2015 Draw Result Jalandhar

Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA) has announced the draw result of PUDA 112 Residential Plots Scheme 2015 at Old Hoshiarpur Road Site, Jalandhar. The Scheme was launched on 21 September 2015 for all categories of the society. The Authority has published the list of successful applicants who had applied for the scheme.

The authority had received the number of applications for the allotment of 112 Residential Plots at Old Hoshiarpur Road Site. Jalandhar. The applications had invited through the online mode from 21 September 2015 to 23 October 2015 respectively.

Under the scheme, the authority was offering total 112 four types of plots in estimated sizes of 167, 125, 104 and 83 sq.mt respectively. A large number of units were 44 of size 167 sq. mt. and 41 of size 104 sq. mt. These residential plots prices were started from Rs. 14940/- per square meter.

West Bengal Housing Board (WBHB) invites the applications for the allotment of LIG/MIG(L)/MIG(U) categories of flats on lease hold basis for 99 years under various housing projects on the basis of the lottery. The housing board has launched the scheme only for LIG and MIG categories people of the society. The scheme has opened for the registration from 14 January 2016.

Under the new housing scheme, the WBHB has offered LIG/MIG(L)/MIG(U) categories of flats on lease hold basis for 99 years under the various housing projects. Last Few Days Left For Apply: Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has launched its new  Freehold Residential Plots Scheme 2015  Faridabad in Sector 77 & 78. The new HUDA FreeHold  Residential Plots Scheme 2015 specially launched for Reserved Category.

HUDA has invited the applications for the allotment of HUDA Faridabad Residential Plots Scheme 2015. The scheme will be opened for registration from 21 December 2015 to 20 January 2016 only through the online mode.

Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) invites the applications for the allotment of 2669 residential plots in its 12 new residential plots scheme 2016. JDA has launched Panna Dhai Awasiya Yojna which is located in Begus, Jaipur, Zone-12 along with 11 new residential plot schemes named Aditya Vihar, Ashrya Vihar, Hari Enclave, Yash Vihar, Ram Chandra Vihar, Raghunath Vihar, Pannadhai Nagar, Abhinav Vihar Vistar, Dev Vihar, Rohini Enlcave, Surya Nagar Block-A and Udai Vihar.

  • The applicant will have to mention the complete details of the bank account such as account number, IFSC code, bank branch and the name of the account holder.
  • In the case of online applications, the payment of the registration amount can be done through net banking, credit card or debit cards.
  • In the case of applying through E-Kiosks, the application fee and booking amount to would be paid in Cash.
  • If applying for more than one plot and booking amount is up to Rs 30 thousand, the applicants will have to pay Rs 80 extra along with the application fee of Rs. 80.
  • If the registration amount exceeds Rs 30 thousand in the case of applying for more than one plot, the applicants will have to pay Rs. 125 extra along with application fee.

Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) invites applications for the allotment of 3280 flats in various housing projects at different locations of Bangalore. The new housing scheme is specially launched for Economical Weaker Section EWS, Lower Income Group LIG and Higher Income Group HIG categories people of the society. The registration for the scheme has been started from 13 January 2016.

Under the new housing scheme, the authority is offering 3280 flats of 1BHK, 2BHK and 3BHK flats for general category, EWS, LIG and HIG categories people under various housing projects. The flats will be allotted according to the rules of BDA (Allotment of sites) Rules 1984. These flats are located in the housing complex of BDA on affordable prices.

How to Apply BDA Banglore Housing Scheme 2016:

  • The Registration form and application form may be obtained from the below-listed Banks after paying the specified fees. (BDA offices will not issue any application forms.)
  • Eligible applicants should register their names by paying the above specified registration fees at the designated banks. They should retain the registration slip safely and upon allotment, return it to BDA. Those who have already registered their names for allotment of flats, need not register again. The old registration card can be used to buy and submit the application.
  • Duly filled application form with registration card along with the initial deposit as mentioned above should be submitted to the same branch where the registration was done and the acknowledgment should be kept with them.
  • Initial deposit should be in the form of a crossed DD/Banker’s Cheque or Pay Order drawn in favour of Commissioner, BDA Bangalore
  • Applicants shall apply for a flat for a single locality. If they wish to apply for a flat in more than one location, then separate application for the each location along with the initial deposit should be applied. However only one flat in a preferred locality will be allotted for persons who have applied for a flat in more than one locality.
  • The previous attempt of the applicants will be considered for the seniority while allotment of flats.
  • Applications without initial deposit and other necessary documents, unsigned and incomplete applications will not be considered for allotment. Document should be Certified by the designated Officers / Institutions as mentioned in the application.,
  • No interest will be paid for the initial deposit made by applicant. The initial deposit will be adjusted towards the total cost of the flat in case of successful applicants and the initial deposit with regard to unsuccessful applicants will be returned without interest.
  • The BDAreserves the right to reduce or increase the number of flats due to unexpected developments.
  • If any of the information given by the applicant is found to be false or misleading, the allotment of flat shall stand cancelled and the registration fee and the initial deposit paid shall be forfeited.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The annual income limit of applicant’s family to apply under Economically Weaker Section(EWS) category
    (1 BHK only) shall be Rs.1.00 Lakh (Rs. one Lakh). No income limit is applicable for other categories of flats.
  • Only those who have completed 18 years of age are eligible to apply.
  • Applicant should be a domicile of Karnataka for not less than 15 years prior to the date of registration.
  • Note: The requirement of domicile is relaxed in the cases officers belonging to All India Service, whose services are
    allotted to the Karnataka State and domiciled in the State of Karnataka for not less than 2 years immediately prior
    to the date of registration and serving soldiers who are either serving in the State or outside the State of Karnataka are eligible to apply.
  • An applicant whose wife I husband or their dependent children, parents or brothers I sisters owns a site or a house or has been allotted a site or a house by the erstwhile CITB, the Bangalore Development Authority or a Co-operative Society registered under the Karnataka Co-operative Societies Act, 1959 (Karnataka Act 11 of 1959) or any such other Authority within the Bangalore Metropolitan Area or has been allotted a site or a house in any part in the State by any other Urban Development Authority or the Karnataka Housing Board or such other Agency of the Government shall not be eligible to apply for allotment of a flat against this notification.
  • The applicant who has already been allotted a site/ house at the subsidized rate in any part of Karnataka will not be eligible for allotment of flats under this scheme.

Bhopal Development Authority (BDA) has launched its new Lakshminarayan Sharma Aerocity Phase-I Freehold Plots Scheme 2016. The registration for the scheme has been started from 12 January 2016.

The authority has invited the applications for the allotment of 475 residential plots under Lakshminarayan Sharma Aerocity Phase-I Freehold Plot Scheme 2016. The registration for the scheme is being done through the both online and offline mode. The last date of registration is 01 February 2016.

Under the New Lakshminarayan Sharma Aerocity Phase-I Freehold Plot Scheme 2016, the authority is offering total 475 residential plots of three types of units-2324.16 square feet, 1452.6 square feet and 600 square feet. The maximum number of plots size is 600 square feet under the new scheme.
